Safety Relays and Timers can be used in a variety of safety-related control applications to help protect personnel from unintended machine starts and loss of the safety function. Products include monitoring safety relays, timing control units, safety control relays, and single function and expansion relays. Specialty relays are also available for a wide-range of high-risk applications.
200 Series Modular Relays
The Guardmaster® MSR200 expandable modular relay system supports up to 22 diverse inputs including mats, light curtains and switches. This single-relay system allows safety control of larger, more complex manufacturing equipment. The microprocessor-based design offers diagnostic and communication functionality. This system can deliver output and error status over a fieldbus network to an HMI. Note that Guardmaster Safety Relays have been marketed by Rockwell Automation under the trade name "Minotaur" in the past. [More]
300 Series Configurable Relays
The Guardmaster® MSR300 family of expandable modular safety relays handles larger, more complicated safety systems by allowing connection of multiple input modules to a single base unit. It offers a logic configuration with multiple inputs and the control of multiple independent outputs. The system supports up to 20 diverse inputs and can control up to 3 zones, performing simple function block logic configurations through rotary switch settings as opposed to software configuration. Note that Guardmaster Safety Relays have been marketed by Rockwell Automation under the trade name "Minotaur" in the past. [More]
Timing Control Units
Timing control units energize and unlock guard-locking devices after a preset time delay expires. Generally used on machines that have a run-down cycle or do not stop immediately, these units can be incorporated anywhere in the safety-related controls system requiring a predictable on-delay. [More]
440R Power Supply Unit
The Guardmaster® power supply converts either 110V AC or 230V AC to 24V DC. It is intended to be used with an MSR5T or a Ferrotek noncontact interlock. Note that Guardmaster Safety Relays have been marketed by Rockwell Automation under the trade name "Minotaur" in the past. [More]
700S-CF Safety Control Relays
Bulletin 700S-CF Safety Control Relays provide mechanically or mirror contact performance, which are required in feedback circuits for safety applications. Bifurcated contacts are ideal for low energy feedback safety circuits where high contact reliability is required. [More]
700S Heavy-Duty Safety Control Relays
Bulletin 700S-P and 700S-PK Safety Control Relays are designed to meet worldwide safety standards. These relays have mechanically linked contacts and tamper-resistant covers. [More]
Expansion Relays
Safety Relay Expansion Units are designed to expand the number of outputs available when used with Guardmaster® Safety Relays and retain the same integrity as the base unit. [More]
Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs
Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs operate as extensions of a master safety relay. The outputs of the expansion relay mimic the outputs of the master. Delayed outputs are used in applications where power must be maintained for a fixed duration after an input signal is received. [More]
Single-Function Relays
The Guardmaster® MSR100 Single Function Safety Relays support a wide variety of input devices and output configurations. Ideal for relatively small safety applications and single zone control, MSR100 relays are compact packages with removable terminals. These relays are also available in electromechanical versions, or solid-state models for applications involving high cycle rates. Note that Guardmaster Safety Relays have been marketed by Rockwell Automation under the trade name "Minotaur" in the past. [More]
Single-Function Relays with Delayed Outputs
Safety Relays with Delayed Outputs are used in applications where power must be maintained for a fixed duration after an input signal is received. For example, driving a switch to maintain a guard door in the locked position for a fixed duration after a stop button is pressed. [More]
Specialty Relays
Specialty Relays and accessories are available for a wide-range of high-risk applications. [More]
