Food Process Belts

With the demand for better and better hygiene in food processing the belting manufacturers have done their part with new products and techniques. Improvements have been made to fabrics to make them non-wicking and to belt constructions to seal both all surfaces so no fabrics are exposed. There have been advancements in thermoplastic belts, reinforced and plain, positive and friction driven, that go a step further. We work closely with the leading manufacturers to understand the materials and concepts and also to mirror their fabrication techniques to ensure the best products possible.

Heavy Rubber Belts

Black Rubber belts are used to convey heavier industrial products, aggregate products and basic bulk materials. While most belts are smooth cover, there are several varieties which are manufactured with a standard profile pattern on the top surface. The belts have a heavy rubber cover, usually on one side, which protect the fabric layers, which are the strength of the belt.

Belts are rated from 150 PIW to 800 PIW and these are tension ratings. We have belts in standard 2 and 3 ply constructions SBR and MOR readily available locally in most sizes.

Incline Belts

Since it is widely known the world is not flat, there are belts needed to transport products up and down levels. There are many different surfaces and profiles available and striking the perfect balance of grip, release, wear, and control to maximize efficiency is a specialty at CBT.

Industry Process Belts

Belts for industrial processes require a matching of the qualities of the material with the rigorous of the application. Our team of specialists, with their years of experience working with the best technical support from manufacturers such as Habasit, strive to provide the best solution to every application.

Industry Specific Belts

There are many industrial sectors that have there own segment of belts that are unique. In areas such as laundries, die cutting, agriculture, and cross-lapping, as well as other segments, there are belts we offer that were developed to perform a unique service and are truly one of a kind.

Package Handling Belts

Warehousing and distribution used to be so simple. There was a smooth belt for flat conveyors and a rough belt for inclines. Then they became faster, and automated, and transfers became angled rather than linear. There are requirements for service life and flame retardance and need for higher strength and fasteners elimination and tracking with more external forces than could be imagined. Fortunately the manufacturers have kept up with the demands of the industry and your CBT belting specialist can provide the correct belt for your requirements.

Rubber Cleats & Sidewalls

When a smooth rubber belt or standard molded pattern won't properly move the product it is necessary to add cleats or walls to a rubber belt. Cleats and sidewalls can be configured to fit the requirements of the application. Our fabrication partners stand behind their workmanship.

Special Materials

Within the Belting Universe there are materials that are unlike the others which were developed to address certain problems. We offer the Volta non-reinforced thermoplastic belts for food handling for better hygiene. We offer a Zip-Link material which can be joined with a pin but requires no lacing. We also carry many materials which we have had manufactured to specifications we developed with a manufacturer on behalf of a customer's requirements.
