The most popular combinations are given one part number for easy ordering, assembled at our premises and are then tested to ensure compliance with our stringent quality control procedures prior to dispatch. They are then despatched to our customers, who receive one component that is ready for quick and easy installation.

Regulators can help to improve efficiency by reducing component wear and by lowering energy costs. In addition to a standard range of regulators CBT also offer compact regulators with our ARJ series, high pressure solutions with the ARX (20 bar) and VCHR (50 bar) series. CBT also provide compact manifolds designs in the form of the ARM series. These allow for a number of regulators to be fitted into tight spaces.
For precise applications we can offer the IR and ARP series. These both allow for highly sensitive regulation, while the ITV electro-pneumatic regulator allows for precise control of output pressure and is easily adjusted to meet all needs.

CBT carries all filters offered by SMC. Filters remove solid impurities such as rust, dirt particles and water droplets from compressed air. SMC manufactures a range of filters, from M5 to 2” port size, making our range suitable for applications in the smallest test instruments to the largest industrial plant.
SMC has standardized on 5 micron filter elements for most general industrial pneumatic applications. However, should a finer level of filtration be required, then filtration levels as low as 0.01 microns can be achieved. Additionally, where odour-free air is demanded, our odour removing filter can be used.

CBT carries all SMC lubricators. Where lubrication is required, adding a small quantity of oil to compressed air reduces greatly wear and tear of pneumatic components. SMC’s range of lubricators includes modular components, with port size from M5 to 1’’, large flow lubricators from 1 1/4” to 2” and centralized lubrication systems.

CBT offers all SMC dryers and encourages their green initiatives. SMC’s Refrigerated Dryers can offer cooling ratings of 3-75kW. Compared to previous models the new IDFA offers a reduction in volume by 30% and in weight by 40%. It also provides an Increased level of air flow capacity by 40% when compared to previous models and with the use of a Stainless Steel Heat-Exchanger it can offer Energy Saving benefits.

CBT carries a range of precision regulators for use in applications which require pressure control to closer tolerances than is available from conventional regulators. For applications such as tension control, force control on pressing machines, leak testing, or balance systems, the precise control offered by precision regulators guarantees better process control with higher quality being met. They come in a range of port sizes and flow levels and are fully compatible with our modular FRL assemblies.

Compressed air can sometimes reach a high temperature and when it cools, large volumes of water can be deposited in the airline system. These deposits can be problematic but they can be easily reduced by installing an aftercooler immediately after the compressor. SMC manufactures both water cooled and air cooled units.

A selection of autodrains are available to remove the build-up of condensate in air-receiving vessels and pipes. Once installed, this essential ongoing maintenance task will be performed with no employee input.

Reservoirs are available for the storage of compressed air or for the elimination of compressor pulsations.

Centralised control and multi-point lubrication can be achieved with the use of the ALB900 booster lube. Through the use of a booster , a pressure that is higher than that of the main air passage can be supplied. This difference is used as the mist generating pressure differential. Thus the pressure drop in the main air passage is minimised.
