Double Row Angular Contact Bearings are similar in design to 2 single row angular contact bearings mounted together, but require less axial space. This versatile design can accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads acting in both directions. ~~ These bearings are produced with high quality 52100 bearing steel and hardened to provide durability and long life. The max type design, represented with an “E” suffix utilizes a filling slot to add an extra ball, increasing radial load capacity, but limiting speed and axial load capacity due to potential interference with the slot. Many European manufacturers represent max type bearings using the 3200 or 3300 language without a suffix, or with an “E” suffix.
