Angular contact bearings inner and outer ring raceways are axially displaced with respect to each other allowing them to accommodate combined simultaneous radial and axial loads. The axial load capacity varies depending on the contact angle, with the higher angle providing greater capacity. These bearings have a 40 degree contact angle allowing for greater axial loads. They are also universally flush ground allowing then to be mounted in any number of configurations adjacent with angular contact bearings. As well they are produced with a machined brass cage that helps dampen vibration.
