Traditionally used in landline telephone applications, these IDC splice connectors can be used to splice, tap or repair damaged low voltage conductors in voice and data applications. Unlike UR and UY butt splices, the UB tap splice enables tapping into without a line creating a disruption in service. No need to cut the wire which is being tapped. Feeds tap to 1 additional wire.
