Description

The B500 series clutches share the same design. A full complement of cams is retained in an outer race. This requires a bearing supported hardened shaft as the inner race. These are primarily used for back stopping applications. It can also be used for indexing and overrunning applications as well. The B500 series was created as a replacement backstop for many different gear reducers. This series come pre-lubricated with special light grease. In service they can be lubricated with either grease or oil.
