CBT Acquires FDL

We are pleased to announce that CBT Co. (formerly Cincinnati Belting & Transmission) has acquired the assets of FDL Automation & Supply in Sidney, Ohio. As of April 1, 2016, FDL Automation & Supply will conduct business under the name CBT Company. We are excited about the opportunities this presents for both organizations, our employees, associates, and most importantly, our customers.

The mutual goal of both organizations during this transition is to ensure you are continually served with quality products and services. We will continue to combine our operations in a very considered, careful manner to keep our efforts as seamless as possible to you.  

FDL Automation is a locally owned electrical distributor serving west central Ohio. Our companies already share many customers and business partners, and we intend to enhance and expand these essential relationships. As a result of our business acquisition, you will now have access to an extraordinary portfolio of products, services, and industry expertise.  

If CBT is a new supplier to you, we look forward to acquainting ourselves with you and your business, as well as earning the opportunity to serve your needs. CBT has been an Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation distributor in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky market since 1986. We have been servicing the Sidney and Dayton market since 1989. The Allen Bradley products and services complement our other business units of Electrical Supplies, Mechanical Power Transmission, Belting and Conveyor Components, Pneumatics, and Client Services.
