Ruland six beam couplings are zero-backlash and have a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 6,000 RPM. This F-series beam coupling is machined from a single piece of aluminum and features two sets of three spiral cuts allowing for higher torque capacity, lower windup, and larger body sizes than four or single beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 7mm x 7mm bores, 25.4mm OD, and 38.1mm length. Stainless steel is used for higher torque capabilities than aluminum versions, however the coupling will have significantly higher inertia. This coupling is best suited for encoders and light duty power transmission applications such as coupling a servo motor to a lead screw. Hardware is metric and tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. This six beam coupling is RoHS and REACH compliant. It is made from bar stock sourced exclusively from North American mills and manufactured in Ruland's Marlborough, Massachusetts factory under strict controls using proprietary processes.
