Description

Brand Name

Panduit®

Type

3-Phase Gateway Enabled

Description

Gateway-Enabled MS (Monitored and Switched) Series Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) safely and efficiently manage and distribute power to installed equipment and are available in a range of electrical and outlet configurations that cover all global regions. Multiple rack PDUs can be connected to the network via a SmartZone™ Gateway to provide local and remote monitoring of aggregate power, environmental and physical access data from a single IP address, enabling potential issues to be identified and under-utilized power capacity reclaimed. Gateway-Enabled MS Series Rack PDUs have remote switching capabilities, enabling individual outlets or a group of outlets to be switched on or off to reboot equipment or restrict unauthorized use of individual outlets. Gateway-Enabled MS Series Rack PDUs integrate with comprehensive DCIM software platforms, to access current and historical trending information and event notification alarms. For more specialized applications, Panduit® offers a custom made service which involves designing and manufacturing a rack PDU to meet exact customer specifications.
Panduit® SmartZone™ Rack Power Outlet Unit, 3-Phase Gateway Enabled, Series: MS Series, 230/400 VAC, 32 A, 24 Outlets, 10 ft Cord Length, 48 to 62 Hz Frequency, Surface Mounting, IEC 60309 3P+N+E 6h Plug, IEC C-13/IEC C-19 Receptacle, Black, 70 in H x 2.5 in W x 2.36 in D

Features

  • Allows users to remotely access, configure, or manage units, or manage individual or a group of outlets such as turning outlets off that are not in use (preventing overloads) or recycling power to locked-up equipment, minimizing costly downtime and travel times to service equipment
  • Executes time delay sequencing of individual power outlets to avoid circuit overload due to the high in rush of current at equipment start up
  • Performs real-time monitoring and management of aggregate rack PDU current, voltage, kVA, kWhr, kW, frequency and power factor loads to monitor, document, and manage operational power utilization
  • Displays a visible on-unit warning when the current draw of rack PDU is close to the maximum Amp draw levels, helping to quickly identify and resolve concerns and avoid risk of overloaded circuits
  • Offers standard or customizable builds with single or three phase options, a range of current ratings, and different power outlets that can be adapted for varying power requirements
  • Monitors cabinet conditions such as temperature, humidity and airflow to facilitate capacity management and identify potential causes of equipment failure
  • Multiple rack PDUs can be connected to the network via a SmartZone™ Gateway to provide local and remote monitoring of environmental and physical access data from a single IP address
  • Provides user-defined critical power, environmental, and security thresholds that will prompt alarm notifications to enable resolution for maximum uptime
  • Captures actionable power and environmental data that can be utilized by SmartZone™ Software to enable data center operational and energy efficiencies, capacity management, and resilience
