This Ruland two-piece quick clamping shaft collar with clamping lever requires no tools to install, remove, or reposition significantly reducing downtime in applications such as printing and packaging where rolls are frequently replaced. It has a 1.2500" bore and 15mm width. The clamp style design will not mar the shaft and is infinitely adjustable. The kit mates a standard Ruland shaft collar with a special clamping lever designed to fit the collar. To operate, the user simply turns the lever to remove or reposition the collar. This quick clamping shaft collar with clamping lever is ideally suited for light duty stationary applications where change outs of items including media, guide rails, or other setup fixturing is required on a frequent basis. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. The lever stud is metric and replaces standard clamping hardware that comes with the shaft collar. This quick clamping shaft collar with clamping lever is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. The collar is manufactured from high strength 2025 black anodized aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for light corrosion resistance. The lever handle is made from steel with a zinc powder coated finish for easy gripping in manufacturing environments. The stud and insert are made from stainless steel. The kit is RoHS and REACH compliant.
