Description

The Mercmaster™ III induction luminaire meets the NEC and CEC requirements for use indoors or out. They are suitable for hazardous and adverse locations, including areas exposed to moisture, dust and dirt, corrosive chemicals, harsh weather and extreme temperatures. Because they are enclosed and gasketed, you will never have to worry about corrosion from chemicals or vapors. They virtually maintenance free and provide up to 100000 hr lamp life, making them ideal for areas where access for relamping and maintenance is difficult. They have minimal lumen depreciation with no cycling at end of life.

Hinge has high lip for added safety during installation and servicing
Hinge and bolt construction assures 360 deg compression at all points on ballast housing gasket for positive sealing, swing-away design of captive bolt and nut simplifies servicing
Body gaskets and globe gaskets are high-temperature silicone rubber
All Mercmaster™ III mounting hoods have provision for easy field installation of fuses in fixtures
For electrical protection, a ground wire is provided on each Mercmaster™ to bond hood and ballast housing
Fixture bodies have stainless steel threaded inserts to receive stainless steel screws for reflector and guard
Prevents "freezing", allowing guards and reflectors to be easily removed and replaced at any time, without damage to the housing
