Ruland set screw shaft collars are designed for use in light duty applications where they will not be frequently removed or repositioned. This Ruland shaft collar has a 10mm bore, 20mm OD, and 10mm width. Set screw collars derive all their holding power from the interface between the screw and shaft. To be effective the shaft material must be softer than that of the screw. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 1215 lead-free steel to a fine burr-free finish with Ruland's proprietary black oxide formulation which creates a fine glossy appearance and increases holding power and corrosion resistance. Ruland uses forged screws that test beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards to ensure maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant. This shaft collar is made from bar stock sourced exclusively from North American mills and manufactured in Ruland's Marlborough, Massachusetts factory under strict controls using proprietary processes for superior fit, finish, and holding power.
