TRITAN Quick Detachable “QD” Bushings are easy to install and remove. They are split through the flange and tapered to compress evenly through the length of the bushing, gripping the shaft with immense pressure which is equivalent to a shrink or press fit. They are designed with a set screw over the keyway to help maintain the bushing’s position on the shaft until the cap screws are securely tightened*. These bushings permit the mounting of the same mating part on shafts of different diameters, and the mounting of different sheaves or sprockets on the same shaft using the same bushing. ~~ Cap screws are included and used for mounting, and are also used for quick removal of the bushing. The positive locking feature of the clamp fit eliminates fretting corrosion between the shaft and the bore. ~~ TRITAN “QD” Bushings are supplied with a black oxide finish to prevent corrosion, conform to standardized dimensions, and may be interchanged with the same size bushing that other “QD” manufacturers produce. ~~ QD Bushings are used with the appropriately matched QD Sprockets and QD sheaves to allow for use with multiple shaft diameters, providing flexibility and reduced costs. ~~ TRITAN manufactures high quality bearings and power transmission components such as roller chain, sprockets, bushings & pulleys (sheaves) in ISO certified factories that comply with AFMBA, ISO & ANSI standards for quality assurance. ~~ * Except for JA
