This slip type T-handle torque wrench is factory preset to 41.0 lbs-in (4.63 Nm) and has a 1/4" square drive size. Upon reaching the specified torque value of 41.0 lbs-in (4.63 Nm), the torque wrench automatically releases and resets. This prevents tightening above the preset value, even with continued turning. Ruland offers this torque wrench to ensure hardware in our shaft collars, rigid couplings, and servo couplings is precisely installed. It is manufactured by Seekonk Precision Tools in Massachusetts with +/- 2 lbs-in accuracy, comes standard with NIST traceable certifications, and is made in accordance with Federal Specification MIL-STD-45662A. This torque wrench is manufactured from chrome plated alloy steel to withstand the rigors of industrial environments. Periodic calibration is required depending on frequency of use.
