Many businesses think that only other businesses could be compromised by hackers when in reality it can happen to any company, in any industry. Recently, a water treatment plant out of Pinellas County, Florida fell victim to a cybersecurity attack that potentially put thousands of lives at risk.

The material handling industry is the fastest-growing vertical in the world, with a drastic increase in distribution centers across the tri-state and surrounding areas. Ten years ago, in January of 2011, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) was signed into law. The message from lawmakers was clear, responding to outbreaks of foodborne illness was not enough for food manufacturers; they had to become proactive in preventing outbreaks from happening.
